   Experimental Capabilities

    This self-contained apparatus is fully instrumented so that catchment rainfall  and runoff

    values can be obtained as functions of time.

 The water flow in all the experiments

 is recirculated from a sump tank by a

 pump included in the system.

- Determination of runoff hydrographs

   on a model catchment

- Construction of draw-down curves for

   one or two well system in a gravel bed

- Investigation of model stream flow on

alluvial material

 

 long duration storms onto a dry catchment to find the time of concentration

short storms onto drained and saturated catchment to show the effect of antecedent conditions
